About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer - After Sales Support to join our team in the After Sales department. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.

You will work closely with our sales team to provide excellent customer service and support, responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues promptly. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering, electrical systems, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
  • Repairing equipment when necessary to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs
  • Responding to breakdowns and providing timely assistance to customers
  • Providing local after-sales support to meet customer needs
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and resolving issues promptly

Requirements:
  • Experience in mechanical engineering and/or material handling
  • Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of electronic systems
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Effective communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
  • A full UK driving licence is required for travel between sites
