Physical Disability Specialist Support Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to support our team in the delivery of services for children and young people with complex physical disabilities and medical needs.
About UsNottinghamshire County Council's Physical Disability Support Service is a well-established team working within mainstream schools to improve access to education. We are committed to delivering high-quality services that make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Support the team in financial monitoring, reconciling expenditure, and providing reports.
- Assist with arranging and processing moving and handling training activities before and after courses have been delivered.
- SOURCE AND ORDER ICT EQUIPMENT FOR THE TEAM.
- Provide administrative support for PDSS Referral outcomes and general meetings.
- Collate referrals and add them to the Mosaic system.
- Offer telephone advice to schools, parents, and provide signposting as required.
- Support the maintenance and running of the PDSS building.
- A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to prioritise your own workload and work independently.
- Excellent keyboard skills and accuracy when using computer programmes.
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office is beneficial.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid way (office and home-based working) and contribute to service development. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team and also work independently on tasks.
Estimated Salary£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
