About the Role

The Heavy Plant Equipment Transporter plays a crucial role in our nationwide Plant and Tool division, delivering heavy plant equipment to customers across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

This position involves loading, transporting, and collecting heavy plant equipment from customer sites in a timely and professional manner. The successful candidate will also be required to carry out hire equipment demonstrations on site and ensure all relevant checks and administration are completed accurately.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HGV Driver with a Class 2 driving license, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed, and a valid Digital Tachograph card. Recent experience of towing trailers is essential, as is a strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and transporting heavy plant equipment to customer sites
  • Delivering and collecting heavy plant equipment from customer sites
  • Carrying out hire equipment demonstrations on site
  • Completing all relevant checks and administration accurately
