Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Submarine Support programme. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management, with experience in managing complex IT projects and programmes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of the Submarine Support programme, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead a team of project managers and technical experts to deliver the programme's objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and report on programme progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.

Requirements:
  • Recognised project management qualification (e.g. APMQ, Prince2, etc).
  • Proven experience in project management in either information technology, technical architecture, data management, or digital backbone/digital thread.
  • Experience working in a highly governed or multi-disciplined environment.
  • Ability to apply analysis and problem-solving techniques to reach fast and effective solutions.
  • Previous leadership experience.
