We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join our Adolescent Forensic Mental Health Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical, management, and professional leadership to support the delivery of high-quality care to young people in our Secure Children's Homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based practice and high-quality care.
- Manage and develop the team, including staff supervision, performance management, and training.
- Develop and implement service plans, ensuring effective partnership working with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring the service meets the needs of our young people and their families.
- First-level registered nurse (RNMH, RMN, RNLD, or equivalent) or social worker qualification.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification or training in leadership and management.
- Experience of coordinating and managing staff resources, including staff supervision and performance management.
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team, using a community-based approach.
- Experience of providing community-based mental health services.
- Experience of leading teams and taking on a leadership role in project management.
- Commitment to partnership working, both multi-agency and multi-disciplinary.
- Awareness of human resource issues and budget management.
- Experience of performance management and staff development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict management.
- Knowledge of RiO data systems and IT skills.
