About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Room Leader to join our leadership team at Muddy Boots Nursery. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Room Leader in leading a team to provide exceptional childcare and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a stimulating and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve the nursery's performance and achieve its goals.
Requirements
  • A relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 3 or above).
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an Early Years or nursery setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
