Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Attendant to join our team at United Community & Family Services, Inc.
About the Role:
- This full-time (32hr) position will involve assisting residents with daily living activities, promoting their overall health and well-being, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- You will be scheduled for 11pm-7am, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Administer medication according to physician orders and document accordingly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for residents and their families.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the highest level of care for residents.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in eldercare or a related field is preferred.
- Medication Administration certification is mandatory.
- Home Health Aide or CNA certification or equivalent is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and possess a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $43,500-$48,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
