Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Attendant to join our team at United Community & Family Services, Inc.

About the Role:

  • This full-time (32hr) position will involve assisting residents with daily living activities, promoting their overall health and well-being, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • You will be scheduled for 11pm-7am, weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.
  2. Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
  3. Administer medication according to physician orders and document accordingly.
  4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
  5. Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for residents and their families.
  6. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the highest level of care for residents.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in eldercare or a related field is preferred.
  • Medication Administration certification is mandatory.
  • Home Health Aide or CNA certification or equivalent is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and possess a compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $43,500-$48,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
