We are seeking a Kitchen Leader to join our team at beBee Professionals in Newtownabbey, United Kingdom. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring excellent food presentation, and maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu.
- Ensure the presentation, taste, and portioning of food meets the restaurant's standards.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with stock control.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Develop new menu ideas and seasonal dishes.
- Adhere to food safety procedures and ensure compliance with food hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of a wide range of culinary techniques and cuisines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Food Hygiene certification (Level 2 or higher preferred).
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
