Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and personable Associate Field Applications Scientist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our global FAS team, you will serve as the primary interface between our sales team, marketing, and customers, providing expert-level support for our liquid handling suite of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run remote software demos and on-site instrument demos of our liquid handling product lines.
  • Disseminate technical product knowledge and train customers on product applications and techniques.
  • Build strong relationships with our internal commercial team and EU customer base.
  • Travel extensively within the UK and Europe, with potential trips outside Europe.
Requirements
  • BSc with at least four years or MSc 2+ years practical experience in a Biological Science discipline, liquid handling, laboratory automation, or related field.
  • Knowledge of NGS, liquid handling, and automation, and their application in a research laboratory.
  • Familiarity with workflow optimization in genomics, drug discovery, and structural biology.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50 to 75%, including internationally.
