Electrical Engineering Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Worcester. The ideal candidate will have experience working with rotational test equipment and be able to travel occasionally for overseas assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, service, and install rotational test equipment
- Repair and refurbish returned equipment
- Install new and reconditioned equipment at customer premises
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dynamometer servicing or similar rotating machinery
- Understanding of engine and component testing theory
- Knowledge of oil injection principles and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Experience using machine tools (lathe, drill, etc.) and measuring equipment
- Ability to read complex technical engineering drawings
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent education level
- Full driving license and ability to work independently
Working Conditions:
- Work based at the Worcester site with occasional site work and overseas travel
- Full-time hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-13:30
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per year
- Auto Enrolment Pension with 8% company contribution
- 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
- Sick pay after probationary period
