Patent Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Patent Attorney to join our team at Franks & Co Limited in Sheffield.

The role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong commercial outlook, looking to develop clients, increase fee income, and take on full responsibility for case management and client relationships.

As an autonomous contributor, you will work closely with clients across the full range of intellectual property matters, including finding and originating new patent, trade mark and design applications, searching and drafting patent applications, prosecuting patents, infringement and validity advice, enforcement and defence against infringement, portfolio management, and more.

To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in intellectual property, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft 365 and have a good understanding of business development principles.
