Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Pertemps Bond. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front-line maintenance contractor safety management
  • Risk assessment of maintenance jobs by staff/contractors
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping in workshop and warehouses
  • Complete an agreed target number of safety conversations per month
  • Perform toolbox talks with direct reports
  • Adopt and promote a Zero Harm workplace attitude, driving improvement in Health and Safety
  • Liaise and maintain regular contact with the Maintenance Manager
  • Provide holiday/sickness/absence cover for the Maintenance Manager
  • Complete performance reviews for direct reports
  • Support and develop maintenance team members
Maintenance:
  • Create and administer the weekly plan (mechanical/electrical, corrective/preventive)
  • Maintain warehouses and booking in/out of parts
  • Coordinate suppliers, including raising POs for parts and services
  • Ensure availability of parts/critical spares
  • Ability to perform hands-on mechanical maintenance if required
  • Perform such other duties as the company may from time to time reasonably require
  • Comply with all company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community
