Mechanical Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Fitter to support our operations at GS International Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and components
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery
• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Conduct tests to ensure proper functioning of mechanical systems
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve processes and systems
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Good physical condition and stamina
• Relevant certifications or trade qualifications

Preferred:

• Experience in the oil and gas industry
