We are looking for a skilled Family Engagement Manager to oversee our visitor centre services at HMP Eastwood Park.

Job Overview

PACT is seeking an experienced professional to manage the day-to-day operations of our family visit centre, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors.

About the Role

This permanent, full-time position comes with a competitive salary of £31,500 per annum and requires you to work 37.5 hours per week, including regular weekend shifts.

You will be responsible for managing the prison's booking line service, coordinating family visit catering, and overseeing play sessions for children visiting their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the visitor centre, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Coordinate the prison's booking line service, ensuring seamless communication between staff and visitors.
  • Oversee the provision of catering services for family visits, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall visitor experience, improving engagement and satisfaction rates.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a corrections or social care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
