We are partnering with a leading Freight Forwarding organization to find a skilled Import LCL Clerk to join their team in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling LCL Import shipments for airfreight and seafreight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with customers and suppliers to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Raise invoices and internal files to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Communicate with shipping lines, hauliers, and depots to arrange collections and deliveries.
- Ensure all customer deadlines are met and customers are satisfied with shipment deliveries.
- Follow up after deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- 2-3 years of experience working for a freight forwarder.
- Experience handling LCL import shipments.
- Proficiency in CNS, Destin8, or Multi-freight systems.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Competent in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
