Job Title: Van Driver - Transportation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Van Driver to join our team at Harsco Rail. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for the on-time delivery of parts and the collection of waste from sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver parts and collect waste from sites across the UK
  • Ensure correct waste storage and segregation during transit and prior to collection by licenced waste contractors
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Initiate and manage change to improve logistics and waste management processes

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working within the Railway industry (desirable)
  • IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of the Environmental Protection Act, The Waste (England & Wales) Regulations and other associated UK waste regulations
  • Understanding of logistics (transportation, receive & dispatch)
  • PTS trained (desirable)
