Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior Planning Consultant to join our team at Vivid Resourcing. In this role, you will be responsible for managing planning projects from inception to completion and providing strategic planning advice to clients.

As a Senior Planning Consultant, you will be expected to:

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Prepare and submit detailed planning applications, appeals, and development proposals
  • Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to negotiate and secure planning permissions
  • Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and environmental assessments
  • Mentor and support junior planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Requirements:


We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Consultant with a degree in Town Planning or a related discipline, Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), and proven experience in a senior planning role.


The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the UK planning system, including relevant legislation and regulations, and excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
