Senior Claims Advocate

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Advocate to join our team at Aon. As a Senior Claims Advocate, you will be responsible for managing, strategizing, and achieving successful outcomes across a portfolio of global accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage claims from first notification of loss to successful resolution, involving multiple stakeholders, including clients, network offices, placement teams, underwriters, and experts.
- Provide proactive advice and guidance on coverage-related issues to clients and Aon network offices, advocating the best strategy to facilitate settlement and conclusion of claims.
- Coordinate discussions and attend meetings, which may require overseas travel, to ensure outstanding levels of communication between clients, adjusters, and underwriters.
- Multi-task and handle a wide and varied case load of claims at any one time.
- Be involved in tenders and report writing as necessary.
- Maintain internal records and have a good understanding of London Market practices and procedures.
- Experience dealing with renewable claims from first notification of loss to successful resolution.
- Knowledge of Natural Resources claims and confidence to coordinate and be involved in discussions with networks, clients, underwriters, and experts.
- Experience of dealing directly with clients and/or insurers.
- Outstanding leadership expertise with the skills to lead, coach, and develop a team of less-experienced colleagues.
- Solid understanding of claims coverage issues and widely utilized market wordings and clauses.
- Demonstrable negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
