About the Role: As an EAL tutor with Prospero Teaching, you will work with children and young people who require support in learning English as an Additional Language. You will deliver tailored sessions to help them develop their English language skills and achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 EAL sessions to young people in a flexible and creative manner
  • Assess and address the individual needs of each learner
  • Work collaboratively with Prospero Teaching's consultants and Training and Development Team
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners

Requirements:

  • ESOL qualification (e.g., TEFL or CELTA)
  • Minimum 1-year EAL tutoring experience
  • Confidence in teaching Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children
  • Recent safeguarding training or willingness to undergo Prospero's course
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references
