About the Role

Amspec Limited, a leading Design & Build enterprise in the Northwest, is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to support and advise on all Health and Safety requirements for a large Architectural package of works in Deeside.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to H & S regulations and best practices at all times
  • Attend weekly health and safety meetings with client and PC
  • Assist in delivering daily safety briefings
  • Maintain company H & S targets and objectives
  • Carry out weekly inspections, produce reports, and share findings for action
  • Develop risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments, and tool box talks as required
  • Near miss reporting
  • Assist with incident and accident investigations
  • Provide technical and HSE support to the Site Management Team
  • Find practical solutions to issues that arise on site
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • UK-based Construction experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and regulations
  • UK Driver's license and own transport
