About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SHEQ Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our employees and clients, as well as maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective safety management systems to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Provide training and guidance on health and safety procedures to ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General or Construction certification.
  • Member of IOSH.
  • Good knowledge of H & S Legislation.
  • Previous experience in a construction health and safety position.
