General Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Operative to join our team at 2 Sisters Food Group. As a General Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our poultry factory, handling raw chicken products for top-tier customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the factory environment
  • Be aware of potential hazards and take necessary precautions to prevent accidents
  • Work at a consistent rate to meet production demands
  • Minimize waste by following standard operating procedures
  • Ensure products on the production line are fit for purpose
  • Report any issues to your line manager to maintain team success
Key Skills and Qualities:
  • Passion for delivering customer orders while maintaining high standards of Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Product Quality
  • Comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment
  • Ability to work at pace and take action to achieve results
