Company Overview

Teaching Personnel provides temporary and permanent teaching staff to schools across the UK. This role is based in a Special Educational School in the Warmley area, which caters for students aged 3-19 with profound mental learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.

Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum

Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized education plans and differentiated learning activities
  • Support students in developing essential skills, such as communication, social interaction, and independence
  • Assist with classroom management, including supporting positive behaviour and helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to further enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths
  • Teaching Assistant qualification (Minimum level 3)
