About the Role

The University's Estates department is seeking an exceptional Maintenance Services Manager to lead a highly capable in-house team, manage multiple contracts and contractors, and oversee a budget to ensure campus sites remain safe, secure, and vibrant.

This is a critical role that requires a positive mindset, a track record of performance improvement in maintenance and estate compliance, and excellent stakeholder management skills. The successful candidate will contribute to the formulation of the University's organisational strategy and play a pivotal role in implementing it as our Maintenance specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, a focus on addressing climate change and ecological concerns, and an attention to detail with emphasis on Health & Safety, financial, and contractual matters. They will also be encouraged to be innovative and creative in finding efficiencies.
