About the Role

Hays Senior Finance is seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join their dynamic and growing Tax team. As a Tax Consultant, you will work with a corporate client base from various industries, providing advice and guidance on tax matters related to pay, reward, and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on employment tax legislation and identify ways to structure employee pay and benefits arrangements to be cost-effective, avoid risks, and reward effectively.
  • Research technical tax matters, write well-structured technical reports, and communicate with clients to provide clear and accurate guidance.
  • Work on a wide range of tax matters, including PAYE settlement agreements, National Minimum Wage, HMRC enquiries, Global Mobility, IR35, supply chain due diligence, salary sacrifice for pensions, and reward schemes.

Requirements

  • You will be a self-motivated and technically able tax professional with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in employment tax, personal tax, corporate tax, or expatriate tax is desirable, but not essential.
  • Accountancy or tax qualifications, such as ATT, CTA, ACCA, or ACA, are beneficial but not required.
