Job Overview:

Hampshire County Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior App. Development Consultant to join our Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping us stand up a new mobile development capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support Hampshire County Council's application portfolio via both the mobile development platform and our corporate web Content Management System.
  • Work closely with the Development Team to embed and evolve our mobile development and test capabilities.
  • Pass on your in-depth knowledge of the sector to your web application development colleagues.
  • Understand business requirements and develop appropriate solutions for our customers.
  • Work as part of a supportive team, sharing technical knowledge and ideas, to develop and deliver systems that are functional, performant, scalable, tested, secure, maintainable, and supportable.

Technical Requirements:

  • Largely from the Microsoft and Android frameworks, including DART, Flutter, Firebase, and Firestore.
  • .Net framework, SQL Server, alongside HTML, JavaScript, and other common web technologies.
  • Azure DevOps within an adaptive, agile environment.
  • On-premise and cloud infrastructure.
