About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Communications Manager to join our team at RAC. As a key member of our Communications and Engagement team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective internal communication strategies to engage and inform our colleagues across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Internal Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Channel Management: Own and manage internal communication channels, including email, intranet, and other digital platforms, to ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate engaging content, including articles, videos, and social media posts, to drive employee engagement and inform colleagues about organizational initiatives and changes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, department heads, and employee groups, to ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute internal events, including town halls, workshops, and recognition ceremonies, to engage and inform colleagues.
  • Metrics and Evaluation: Develop and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and communication.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a large-scale organization.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inform diverse audiences. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications in internal communications, such as the Certified Internal Communicator (CIC) designation.
