Job Title: Senior RF Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RF Design Lead to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd. As a key member of our RF design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex RF systems, working closely with our technical experts and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of RF systems, including the design of RF circuits, antennas, and other related components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality RF designs
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest RF design tools, technologies, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our design processes and deliverables
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in RF design and development, with a strong understanding of RF circuit design, antenna design, and related technologies
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in RF design tools such as Microwave Office and HFSS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
