**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our Grade 4 team. The successful candidate will provide support to the class teacher and contribute to the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the class teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons
  • Support the development of students' academic and personal skills
  • Work with small groups and individuals to provide additional support and guidance
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers and parents to ensure a smooth and efficient learning process

**Requirements**

  • Recent experience of working with children in Years 5 and 6
  • High standard of maths and written/spoken English
  • Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
  • Ability to work alongside the class teacher or in their absence
  • Skills to lead group work and 1:1 interventions
  • Knowledge and creative skills to prepare work
  • Confidence to provide effective feedback to staff, children and parents/carers
