About the Role
The Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service is looking for a Fire Service Team Lead to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Firefighter and Crew Manager to take on a new challenge and develop their leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of firefighters in emergency response situations
- Developing and implementing operational plans to improve fire service efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintaining strong relationships with other emergency services and stakeholders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Firefighter and Crew Manager
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Able to work effectively under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
