About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and proactive NPD Sourcing & Projects Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you'll be responsible for researching and identifying potential new suppliers, coordinating technical testing, and project managing the development of new products from brief to stock in warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Salon Supply Procurement: Develop innovative new proposals and propose strategic options for cost reduction or product improvement, ensuring we offer best practice vs competitor service providers.
  • Performance Testing: Work with our NPD Manager to identify testing needs and coordinate the process, ensuring products are thoroughly tested and meet our high standards.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with manufacturing and packaging partners to ensure adherence to project timelines, think creatively, and proactively bring solutions to the table.
  • Product Specification & Seal Development: Take products from initial brief to sealing process, completing specification documents to accompany each purchase order.
  • Packaging Design & Artwork: Work with internal teams or graphic designers on branding requirements for salon products, ensuring consistency and excellence.
About You

We're looking for a candidate who's proactive, motivated, and passionate about driving change. You'll need to be highly organized, able to multitask, and work under pressure. Strong project management skills, negotiation, and communication skills are essential. Experience with Excel and Procurify is a bonus.
