Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and remuneration package including 27 days' holiday, pension contributions matched up to 9%, private healthcare, and car allowance.
Job DescriptionAs our Senior Programme Manager, you will be accountable for the day-to-day management and delivery of technical development and/or production projects, ensuring timely delivery of equipment versions/variants to agreed programme timescales.
Working within an applied matrix organisation, you will foster and encourage the culture and operational effectiveness of Integrated Project Teams (IPTs). You will also support an integrated whole-Marshall Life Cycle Management Processes (LCM) and Business Management System (BMS).
You will lead the project(s) assigned IPT(s), managing and resolving matters relating to costs, work schedules, commercial, technical, and production issues. You will also work with procurement and supply-chain colleagues, managing subcontracts, and subcontract relationships, as required.
Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the project(s) assigned IPT(s) for the designated/assigned projects.
- Managing and resolving matters relating to costs, work schedules, commercial, technical, and production issues.
- Managing all associated bid, project, and programme risks - with clear definition of risk description, cause, consequence (cost and schedule impacts) and mitigation plans.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in 'front-line' programme management roles in the defence domain - undertaking delivery roles in one or more of a combination in Bids, Projects, and/or Programmes, project-engineering/equipment-engineering, production, and delivery.
- An in-depth knowledge of engineering development techniques for project and programme scope, including technical requirements management, development, and qualification validation and verification phases.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing multi-functional teams in a collaborative matrix-managed IPT environment.
- Experience of procurement and supply-chain contract delivery and manufacturing processes in principle.
Benefits include:
- Competitive salary and remuneration package.
- Opportunity to work on complex projects and develop your skills and expertise.
- Career progression opportunities within the company.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £80,000-£100,000, depending on experience.
