We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Material Engineer. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for leading local inventory planning meetings, setting and maintaining material requirements planning (MRP) data, and optimizing inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to prioritize orders, monitor lead times, and provide forecast information.
- Interface with product service lines and other support groups to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Implement Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to drive process efficiency and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain reports to track key metrics and provide insights to leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of inventory planning and a proven track record of implementing effective inventory management strategies. A bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with 4+ years of experience in a warehouse or operations environment.
