About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Brakes as a Regional Health and Safety Officer, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and customers.

As a Regional Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for managing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures across the region, working closely with depot management teams to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

You will also be the first point of contact for all health, safety, and environmental matters, providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on health and safety policies and procedures.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, including training records, and reporting any non-compliance or gaps in training to the General Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will require experience in a similar role, holding a recognized industry qualification such as IOSH/NEBOSH general certificate, and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
