**Job Description:**

The company seeks a Quantity Surveyor to contribute to the commercial aspects of their business from their Central London office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing budgets for construction projects, evaluating and comparing subcontractor and supplier bids, managing project cash flow, and preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and manage budgets for construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and within the agreed budget.
  • Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project specifications.
  • Manage project cash flow, ensuring timely payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts, ensuring timely invoicing and recovery of project costs.
  • Produce regular cost reports for senior management, detailing current financial performance, potential risks, and projections for project completion.
  • Prepare and agree on final accounts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

**Requirements:**

A degree or equivalent in the construction sector would be ideal but not essential. The company offers a highly competitive salary, pension, holidays, hybrid working, and a travel allowance.
