About the Role:

PW Construction is seeking a skilled Planning Manager to oversee all aspects of planning applications, regulatory approvals, and strategic land promotions within the Eastern region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the preparation, submission, and negotiation of planning applications. Your strong relationships with local authorities, community groups, and stakeholders will be crucial in addressing concerns and ensuring successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, submission, and negotiation of planning applications across the Eastern region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, community groups, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Land, Design, Technical, and Construction Teams to align planning objectives with project goals.
  • Support land promotion activities by evaluating sites for planning potential and contributing to strategic feasibility studies.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential planning risks.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on planning progress, planning budgets, approvals, and associated risks for presentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in planning management.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning legislation, policies, and practices.
  • Driving licence.
