Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production system. This individual will be responsible for coordinating daily production requirements, minimizing non-value-added activities, and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily production schedules and communicate work coordination to colleagues
  • Ensure component quality and conformity
  • Implement best practices and maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Minimize shop-floor material inventory
  • Contribute to and secure all inputs to ensure cell performance outputs are achieved
  • Ensure a consistent approach to standardized work and share learning experiences
  • Maintain a safe environment for yourself and colleagues in accordance with the Company's Health & Safety policy
  • Undertake other duties and tasks as may be reasonably requested by your manager from time to time
  • Process NCRs and MRB stock cages

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of Baan
  • GCSE / NVQ Level 2
  • Understanding of SSGB product and quality concerns
  • Good understanding of MRP principles
