At GAP Group LTD, we're seeking a skilled Electrical Equipment Technician to join our team as a Small Tools Test and Run Fitter. This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

As an Electrical Equipment Technician, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and serviceability of electrical and small tools before they go out on hire. You'll be responsible for carrying out PAT testing on all electrical tools, servicing and maintaining a variety of small tools, including 2/4 stroke petrol tools and electrical tools like saws, grinders, and drills.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a relevant mechanical or electrical qualification (or time served) and significant experience in servicing and maintaining contractor tools. You should also have up-to-date knowledge of products and accessories, as well as experience in completing test certificates and associated paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all electrical and small tools are safe and serviceable before going out on hire
  • Carry out PAT testing on all electrical tools
  • Servicing and maintaining a range of small tools, including 2/4 stroke petrol tools and electrical tools
