Vehicle Technician Career Opportunity

Are you a skilled technician looking for a new challenge? Volvo Car UK is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team in Oxford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and maintenance of all vehicles across the brand.
  • Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty-approved work.
  • Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified).
  • Completing job cards and electronic write-ups on franchise platforms.
  • Supporting Apprentice Technicians as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic (or transferable skills within a similar role) with technical expertise to work at pace.
  • A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures.
  • A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Ability to carry out MOTs is desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered.

  • Salary £28,000 - £34,000 (depending on experience).
  • Performance and workshop bonus (£300 - £1,200 per month).
