Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit international tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
- Collaborate with the Financial Accountant to support monthly and annual reporting, providing expert advice on tax-related matters.
- Develop and maintain a tax strategy, reviewing the university's overseas activities and operations to identify opportunities for tax efficiencies.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance on direct and indirect tax issues, including international tax, and liaise with external advisors as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with corporation tax, VAT, and international tax legislative changes, identifying opportunities for tax savings and advising on compliance.
