We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Leonard Cheshire, a residential care home for adults with physical disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a varied menu that is healthy and nutritionally balanced, meeting specific dietary requirements for our customers.
Working within an agreed budget, you will have responsibility for an efficiently run kitchen, supervising staff who will assist in food preparation.
You will ensure that exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times, meeting Health, Safety and other regulatory requirements.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to become creative, providing catering for our functions and special events.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in a kitchen environment.
- A recognised catering qualification (Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and additional HACCP accreditation, or Level 4 Food Hygiene Certificate / commitment to work towards.
- Flexibility to work within rostered hours.
