We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at The National Autistic Society. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting autistic adults in their daily lives, helping them achieve independence and personal goals.

Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families. The working pattern will include evening and weekend working.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting individuals with autism to develop life skills and independence
  • Transporting individuals to integrate into their community
  • Assisting with daily tasks and personal care
  • Developing and implementing personalized support plans
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of autism and its impact on daily life
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults or children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
