Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with physical and medical needs, as well as those with associated learning difficulties.

Working closely with our experienced team, you will assist with student support throughout the day, both inside and outside the classroom. This may include activities such as reading, maths, ICT, PE, and swimming. You will also work closely with family members and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to help meet and review the students' needs.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a special school or educational support setting. Knowledge of sensory integration and additional communication skills, such as Makaton, would be an advantage. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
