Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Build Assurance Engineer to oversee the deployment of our Full Fibre Network. This role involves ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards, managing supply partner site operations, and maintaining quality control.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring build partners adhere to CityFibre specifications and deliver high-quality work
  • Conducting weekly site inspections, joint measurements, and defect assessments to verify compliance with build specifications
  • Overseeing Progressive Assurance audits and managing inspections via Depotnet
  • Addressing design challenges and engineering issues during planning and build stages
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in OSP Telecoms Network Build, including civils construction, cabling, splicing, and testing (OTDR/ILM)
  • Proficiency in Blown and Traditional Cable installation techniques, with a strong understanding of industry standards
  • Demonstrable knowledge of method statements, risk assessments, and CDM Regulations
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Benefits
