Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

Job Description:

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients within our forensic hospital, which offers a secure environment consisting of medium, low, and open rehabilitation settings for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  2. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  4. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  5. Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.

Requirements:

  1. A relevant nursing qualification (RMN) and valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals.
  2. Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  3. A minimum of 6 months of Mental Health experience as a nurse in the UK.
  4. Strong team-working skills, a high level of self-motivation, and a flexible approach.
  5. A positive attitude, naturally caring and compassionate, with a commitment to high-quality care and values-based practice.
