Principal Finance Business Partner

As a key member of our Financial Services Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of a comprehensive finance service for the City of Lincoln Council.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to all aspects of the financial standing, management, and reporting of the Council's financial resources.
  • Provide advice and analysis for revenue planning, monitoring, and accounting, including business case development and project support.
  • Prepare statutory accounts, budgets, and budgetary control reports.
  • Utilize computerized financial systems to manage and analyze financial data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build effective relationships and manage workload.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified CCAB accountant with excellent technical accounting skills.
  • Significant experience in statutory account preparation, budgeting, and budgetary control.
  • Proficient in computerized financial systems and analytical software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude for interpreting and applying accounting standards and policies.
