Job Title: Static HIU Plumber

Job Type: Temporary, potentially permanent

Location: Tower Bridge area

Hourly Rate: £24 - £25

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a skilled Static Mechanical / HIU engineer / Plumber to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a high-end residential contract. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exchange domestic central heating system components, including radiators, cylinders, tanks, and system controls
  • Power flush central heating systems
  • Close down reactive completed works as per site requirements and report issues back to the contract support desk
  • Undertake plumbing tasks for domestic and commercial installations, including pressure systems, FCUs, pipe work, radiators, valves, pumps, and motors
  • Test for leaks by increasing pressure in pipe systems and observing connected pressure gauge systems
  • Work with hot and cold water systems, calorifiers, boilers, legionella control, and general plumbing services
  • Cold water storage tanks
  • Strong knowledge and experience in working with HIU
  • Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates on work progress, and address any concerns or questions
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, installations, and compliance documentation

Requirements:

  • Plumbing - City & Guilds Level 2 (essential)
  • Plumbing - City & Guilds Level 3 (desirable)
  • Must be able to pass a DBS check or have a current DBS (essential)
  • Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Client-facing
