The Opportunity
- An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Semi-Skilled Electrical Operator with calibration experience. This role involves working on Commercial Off The Shelf equipment, Electrical Safety Checks. The work is extremely varied, interesting and challenging.
- Carry out calibration of Electrical COTS Equipment using METCAL.
- Maintain calibration test records and update databases.
- Provide assistance to skilled operators during the calibration of Special to Type Test Equipment.
- Carry out Electrical Safety Checks.
- Check and complete all paperwork associated with C&M tasks in line with Department procedures.
- Maintain the highest level of workmanship standards and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the department.
Proven experience in planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.
- BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent is preferred.
- Relevant experience in a calibration and maintenance environment.
- Manual handling training.
