Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Event Management Director to lead our Sales and Events Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring seamless processes from initial enquiry to event execution. This includes developing and training the events team to deliver exceptional telephone sales experiences, coordinating with hotel departments and customers to maintain high-level service standards, and monitoring inventory optimization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build strong relationships with off-property sales channels to coordinate sales efforts and maximize revenue opportunities.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships within the community to expand customer base and drive sales growth.
  3. Provide accurate and effective turnover to Event Management, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
  4. Service customers to grow share of account and exceed expectations.
  5. Interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.

 

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in event management or sales leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and sales processes.
  • Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
