Job Title: Swimming Coach

We are seeking qualified lifeguards for the Oakland YMCA in California to teach people of all ages to be comfortable and safe in the water. Our swim instructors provide ample in-service training to hone their swimming knowledge and technical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Taught swim classes to students of various age groups.
  • Maintained a safe learning environment for students.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 16 years old.
  • CPR for Professional Rescuer certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Standard First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Able to demonstrate ability to swim in shallow water (YMCA Minnow or ARC Level 4 Swimming Level).

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience.
